The pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) is humanity's greatest challenge and the modern global health crisis faced by the entire world today. Since the first confirmed cases until today, the priority of the government and the country has been the organized management of the pandemic and its permanent control.

This document is the seventh review of the epidemiological situation and measures taken in connection with the spread of the novel coronavirus in Georgia. The content in this paper is based on an analysis of information obtained within the competence of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. It covers the period from January 23, 2020 to October 1, 2021.

The NCDC expresses its special gratitude to all national and international organizations that supported its operations during the difficult period. This assistance made it possible to maximize effectiveness of implemented activities.
