On March 28, 2022, the final meeting of the 3-month fellowship program of Abdullah Khatami, Associate Professor at the University of Kufa, was held at the Lugar Center. During the meeting, the Fellow made a presentation and summarized the activities that were planned within the Bioscience Fellowship Program. The training process included laboratory biosafety and use of modern laboratory methods, delivered both theoretically and in practical work.
The US Government funded CTR Bioscience Fellowship Program was coordinated by the U.S. Civic Research Development Foundation (CRDF). The program ran from December 2021 to March 2022. Scientists and scholars working in various laboratories in different field at the Lugar Center provided guidance and training to the fellow to achive the objectives and goals of the fellowship program.
