On December 21st 2018, a conference dedicated to the One Health Day was held at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, with participants from the Veterinary Department of the National Food Agency, US CDC, and other stakeholders. The One Health Day is a joint initiative by One Health Platform Foundation, One Health Commission and Initiative, which is being celebrated since 2016. The aim of the meeting is to raise awareness on zoonotic diseases and One Health approach among medical society, veterinarians, ecologists, students and general population.
