title On May 2, 2019, Memorandum of Understanding between the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health and the General Directorate of Prevention and Disease Control (of Afghanistan) was signed.
The purpose of this MoU is to facilitate collaboration between two countries in the field of public health and disease control, to share information, knowledge and experience between the parties, to collaborate on the promotion, preparation and organization of joint seminars, conferences, briefings and information sessions, to promote collaboration between the reference labs of both parties, help in infectious diseases and, primarily the hepatitis lab testing and to serve as an external quality control hub for one another when necessary
