On April 27, 2022 the next coordination meeting between
the US partner organizations (DTRA. CDC, WRAIR) and the NCDC was held at the
National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. The parties discussed
the outcomes and challenges of the ongoing collaboration. The upcoming events
and activities were also presented during the discussions. The US Agencies’
leadership reaffirmed the desire for close cooperation and strong support to
Georgian counterparts. The collaboration will be entirely focused on the
capacity building and strengthening of the public health system of Georgia.
