Measles Outbreak 2019 Response and Management Workshop/Meeting was organized by World Health Organization on 06-07 November 2019. The meeting was attended by NCDC Deputy Science head, Head of communicable disease department and NCDC representatives. Also, the representatives from WHO Country office and invited experts participated in the meeting.

The meeting entailed several sessions on the following topics: Ongoing actions before the response, Compilation of time-frame for identification of main stages and emergency response activities, Identification of challenges and best practices during the response, World Café – Discussion of all the actions identified by each working group and its prioritization.

During the meeting, discussions were held among the groups of Response and Coordination, Risk Communication and Involvement of Society /Vaccination.

In the end of the meeting, future actions and its implementation process was planned.)
