A meeting dedicated to the launching of the
International Center for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS) project
“Implementing an Antimicrobial Stewardship program for Surgical Antibiotic
Prophylaxis (SAP) in Georgian hospitals – A mixed methods approach” was held at
the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC). The
representatives of ICARS, World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe
and participant hospitals took part virtually in the meeting along with the
delegates from NCDC and Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the
Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs
