On September 9, 2021 meeting was held with Mr. Paulius Gradeckas, a new RTA of the EU funded Twinning project "Strengthening the Blood Safety System in Georgia". Mr Gradeckas presented to the Director General of NCDC his views about the future development of the project.
Twinning project implementation started in January, 2020 and aims to approximate the blood safety legislation to the EU legal framework, establish a coordinated and organized blood transfusion system in accordance with the requirements of EU-Georgia Association Agreement; Develop the quality system required to maintain the highest standards of the blood transfusion system, etc
