Meeting with EU Funded Twinning Project Team

On November 17, 2021 National Center for Disease Control and Public Health hosted the meeting with the representatives of the new EU funded twinning project "Support in Implementation of Health Impact Assessment Practice in Georgia”. Project will start in February 2022 and last for 24 months. The main goal of the project is to assist Georgia in fulfilling its environmental health obligations under the EU-Georgia Association Agreement, in line with the "Health in All Policies" approach.

 
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Amiran Gamkrelidze, Director General of the NCDC, signed a tripartite contract, according to which the EU, the partner EU countries (France and Finland) and the project beneficiary administration (NCDC) commit to implement the project.
