On October 21, 2021 the group of WHO SMEs paid a visit at the NCDC to discuss the following issues with the top management of the Center: Role and integration of the public health system into the primary care setting on reginal levels of Georgia. From their side, the Directorate of the Center shared own vision on possible reformation and integration of the system into the PH. In addition, one of the topics for discussion was the CPD of the public health workforce and its future development. The SMEs were presented a white paper on the existing challenges and future plans of the direction for setting further initiatives to the Ministry.
