On November 17, 2021, a meeting with the representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) was held at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. IOM presented the progress of the second phase of the project of humanitarian and legal assistance to foreign migrants during the COVID-19 pandemic. The project is implemented by the IOM with the financial support of US Government. The Georgian side talked about the ongoing vaccination campaign and important issues. The parties discussed aspects of future cooperation to jointly plan activities that will help disseminate knowledge and information among the population, including foreign migrants, promote vaccination and achieve other important results.
