May Measurement  Month -2019, was ended with actions in Adjara on May 31-June 1. 2 Many thanks to the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, the Regional Public Health Center, the Regional Network of Adjara of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, for organizational and logistical support.

May 31 –research in dynamics anddetermine  the lipid profile among of  kindergarten stuff  Screening  was  conducted in the  Center for Public Health. Our regional laboratory team participated in determining biochemical data

More than 100 women as well as males were examined, their personal cardiovascular risk was assessed, and ECG was taken. The doctors of the Tsinamdzgvrishvili Cardiologic Center and Georgian Society of Hypertension gave recommendations for further treatment.

May 31 –MMM 2019  site at the Batumi ShotaRustaveli State University.

Here, the screening was attended by employees of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. Of great interest was the MMM among university students, especially among foreign students, they had previously volunteered to take part in the screening . Up to 70 professors and students were examined.

June 1 - the action was carried out in an organized population among the builders of the Shuakhevi tunnel and in the ambulatory in Khichauri. More than 200 people were surveyed at these two locations.

Here, together with the staff of the Tsinamdzgvrishvili Cardiology Center, the cardiologist from Batumi GuloAbashidze accepted the screening. We additionally took an ECG and revealed pathological changes - often there were ECG signs of left ventricular hypertrophy - which indicated about an uncontrolled hypertension that caused damage to target organs

In Shuakhevi, due to the lack of cardiologic services, the action has gained special advantages.

2 June-final action in KhelvachauriAkhalsopeli-abundance and polimorphism of cardiovascular diseases, low awareness on the state program providing free services in primary health care and chronic disease medicines.
