On September 23, 2022, the third Steering Committee meeting of the EU funded twinning project "Support in Implementation of Health Impact Assessment Practice in Georgia” was held at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health premises, chaired by Dr. Tamar Gabunia. Among the participants were the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the program officer of the EU Delegation to Georgia, the Finnish Junior Project Leader, cponent leaders and experts from Expertise France,.
Several important topics were addressed during the meeting, which included the tools on how to strengthen communication and partnership with other partnering Ministries and institutions to improve the practice of health impact assessment, report was presented about the work conducted in the frames of the project in the last quarter and discussions held on the future steps to better achieve the targets determined by the project.
