Project Summary

a) Goals: In frame of " Joint project of Global Alliance of vaccine and Immunization (GAVI) and NCDC ‘ to receive support for introduction new and underused vaccine” “ Target spending of funds for Introduction Pneumococcal vaccine in Georgia”, by order of #06-51/o 26.03.2014 , were provided trainings for Public health specialists, doctors and nurses about new Pneumococcal vaccine and pneumococcal disease;

b) Activities By specialist of NCDC&PH were carried 147 one-day training for 3200 doctors/ nurses and PHC specialists;

c) Expected results: Improve knowledge of medical staff before introduction new Pneumococcal vaccine
